I hang my head ©

For you I cried a tear in a wishing well,

So long, farewell.

My heart was torn in a country scorned

I said so long,

With a promise one day to return,

I told a lie,

That you should not be one with I,

I begged for help

When angels played their music – I turned away

I lost my soul

Now hurt and lonely thinking about gone days

I hang my head

Filled with shame, embarrassment and fright

I hang my head

A pitiful sample of a life

I hang my head

Uroboros is catching

To eat my hanging head.
