How funny how we do not judge
It’s not PC, and it’s just not right.
Father, taught us after all:
Only the Lord – in his might
Can treat us like – Mr OR Mrs Neophyte!
So, why is it, when opinion matters
Does the clapperboard cruelly clatter
On those we cannot see – eye to eye
Instead we see – Mr Neophyte!
Beginner at this, Novice at that
You cannot justify thereat!
You are a plane, above your height
Accept you place – Mrs Neophyte!
With reasoned argument out the door
Who dare enter, to take the floor
Pick up the flag, carry the fight
Then accused – a Mr Neophyte!
So all topics are agreed,
Superiority rules, to discuss no need;
Everyone knows to brutally stop on sight
An appearance of – a Neophyte!
But on occasion you may see,
a person with troubled expression:
Hiding anxiously in corner
Biting lip, ready to disorder
In the shadow, from the light
A potential – Mr or Mrs Neophyte!
