Age is just a number
That everybody gets
Something living only adds to
How long you won’t forget.
It’s said it doesn’t matter
How you feel is in the mind;
In all intents and purpose
To all age is a sign.
Age is a means to alienate
Something you’ll hide in fear
A price traded for happiness
Goods markets charge too dear.
If you are ever all alone
Chances are age is a factor
Too old, too young, it’s never right
Unless, live in life an actor.
Equality is our supposed age
And age is given equal,
To race, to gender, young and old
Yet each to it is judgemental.
