Shouting © (lyrics)

(When the work is not viewed and shared, the artist loses hope, and the birth of new art ceases to be imagined. I had 5 views on my last post…)

I sit alone tonight, and still you stare at me

A difference of opinion, and I guess that’s what’ll be

A puff of smoke, a spark is all we’ll need tonight

To light the mighty riot, between our wrong and right

Shouting, you and I’ll be shouting

Till we’re blue from shouting

Till you’re sick of me

Lost in my thoughts, you the answer have caught

Now the cats eyes do stare, with unsavoury glare

Well the bulldog will bash, and crockery smash

When the clock ticks to three, cause I need to see

Shouting, you and I’ll be shouting

Till we’re blue from shouting

Till you’re sick of me

You water the floor, still you sharpen your claw

My blood pressure soars, and my teeth they do gnaw

Springs are pressed down, for a flight into town

You lay in wait, for just a tiny mistake

Then… Shouting, you and I’ll be shouting

Till we’re blue from shouting

Till you’re sick of me
