Unspoken times (Lyrics)

Trying to tell when you can’t find your voice

Refusing to speak when you have the choice

What is the question that frees the answer weighing you down?

.

How can I protect when the bubble has burst?

I want to show you that nothing can hurt,

But if I stop, I’m afraid of what I might find

Because life has a way of turning things upside down;

And I struggle to process what happened in unspoken times

.

The love I held so tightly inside

Confessed to me, it was never mine

Before growing wings and learning how to fly,

Transforming my mind into darkening cloud

Reflected out from behind my lying eyes…

Which try to hide away from all – their soulmate died.

.

I stand shoulders above, but I’m shrinking down

Occupational hazard, I can’t help you out,

How can I learn when nobody knows just how?

.

You are everything, but nothing I know

A promise I’m holding, while dropping the ball

Perfect world that’s blurring all the lines,

Because life has a way of turning things upside down;

And I struggle to process what happened in unspoken times

.

The love I held so tightly inside

Confessed to me, it was never mine

Before growing wings and learning how to fly,

Transforming my mind into darkening cloud

Reflected out from behind my lying eyes…

Which try to hide away from all – their soulmate died.

.

All the people in the world and 4 viewed my last post.  When the work is not viewed and shared, the artist loses hope, and the birth of new art ceases to be imagined
