Diamond Nine (Lyrics – Let’s rock!)

Wild mare, you dare not ride

The sort of which, you can’t tie down

Free to roam, unruly mane

Kind of girl, guys try in vain

.

Tempestuous turns, enticing eyes

A body which, no need to lie;

Made me feel, I had to prove

Downed the J, and made my move

.

But I should have seen the sign…

She held-

The Diamond Nine

A curse of mine

That Diamond Nine

.

Tried to take, like a Buccaneer

But found no wheel, on this ship to steer

Sails full, destination to seek

Little knowing, I’d never reach

.

And I should have seen the sign…

She held-

The Diamond Nine

A curse of mine

That Diamond Nine

.

Blowing hot and cold, she marooned me

Then picked me up, danced me out to sea

Pulled me in, when in focus

Pushed me away, when no-one noticed

.

And I should have seen the sign…

She held-

The Diamond Nine

A curse of mine

That Diamond Nine

.

When the work is not viewed and shared, the artist loses hope, and the birth of new art ceases to be imagined.
