I’m going to light the sky (Lyrics)

Cold makes a meal of the lonely

Huddled together in crowds

Frost to come in the morning

Eat up the trails of missed romance

.

But here and now we are together

On a bridge of hope not fully formed

And I’ve a surprise, going to launch it tonight

And I pray you’ll understand…

.

When that rocket fires

Heading for the stars

You’ll hear that whistle scream

To tell you what is coming to be…

.

I’m going to light the sky

To see the sparkles in your eyes

Shake you with the sound

Of the burst as my love spills out

Knowing it’ll surely fade

In the cold of the winter air

I’ll hold on to you…

Keep you warm where you are stood…

Be thankful for happy.

.

I can tell that there’s something there

Even though nothing’s been said

It makes me shiver to think

Love could die before being seen…

.

When that rocket fires

Heading for the stars

You’ll hear that whistle scream

To tell you what’s coming to be…

.

I’m going to light the sky

To see the sparkles in your eyes

Shake you with the sound

Of the burst as my love spills out

Knowing it’ll surely fade

In the cold of the winter air

I’ll hold on to you…

Keep you warm where you are stood…

Be thankful for happy.

Do not take ideas away from struggling artists without recognising their contribution otherwise they stop producing art. I hope the world finds TRUTH and stops those killing creativity and making others miserable through bullying or by blocking their life, or taking their ideas to use as their own.
